# NetBeez releases BeezKeeper version 15.0!

**Hello, NetBeez Community!**

We’re excited to announce the release of **v15.0** , rolling out today!  
While this release introduces just one major new feature, it’s one we think you’ll find extremely powerful and flexible for your network monitoring needs.

### New Feature: **Custom Command as a Scheduled Test**

You can now create scheduled tests that execute **your own bash or Python scripts** directly on all your Network Agents – whether they’re wired, Wi-Fi, Docker, VM, or cloud-based.

These tests run on a schedule you define, and you can set them to trigger **alerts and notifications** based on errors reported by your script. This means you’re no longer limited to built-in NetBeez tests — you can extend monitoring to anything your scripts can check.

If you can script it, you can monitor it with NetBeez — and act on it automatically. [Here is the documentation for this feature](https://help.netbeez.net/en/articles/11802595-custom-command).

### Updating Your Installation

The BeezKeeper server will automatically upgrade to v15.0 today unless manually overridden. This upgrade will also apply to agents.

The server-side upgrade may take up to **30 minutes**. Please avoid rebooting the server during this time. If you experience any issues during the upgrade, reach out to us at **[support@netbeez.net](mailto:support@netbeez.net)**.

### Firewall Configuration

Ensure your network firewall allows the server to connect to NetBeez and any repositories your scripts might require. Also, verify the following:

- Agents must have **TCP/443** access to the server.
- If using on-premises deployments, ensure **port 3142** is open for agent OS upgrades.
- If your custom commands access external services, confirm that those destinations are reachable from your agents.
