Updating Your Installation
Software Repositories & Firewall Dependencies
The BeezKeeper server will automatically upgrade to v14.4 on Wednesday of next week, unless manually overridden. This upgrade will also apply to agents.
The upgrade process may take up to 30 minutes on the server side. DO NOT REBOOT the server during this time. If you suspect an issue during the upgrade, please contact us at support@netbeez.net.
Firewall Configuration:
Ensure your network firewall allows the server to connect to NetBeez and third-party software repositories (e.g., Ubuntu and Docker). Additionally:
- Agents must have TCP/443 access to the server.
- Port 3142 must be open on the server and accessible to agents. This port hosts an APT cache instance, which is critical for agent OS upgrades—especially for agents restricted from internet access.
